AllCom performed full EFI&T of five Nortel Option 81C 1000M switches. This installation included complete database commissioning including subscriber database collection, conversions & input. AllCom also designed and installed five Emerson DC power plants, inverters, batteries and disconnects as well as an outboard alarm reporting system. In addition, AllCom provided full EFI&T of CSU’s, ISDN PRI integration, cable ladder infrastructure, MDF’s and MDF verification, cross-connects and fault protection subsystems. After performing a complex flash cut-over of more than 9,000 active lines to the new Nortel equipment, AllCom completely decommissioned and de-installed an ESS5 including multiple power plants and peripherals.
