As a subcontractor to General Dynamics IT, AllCom provided complete design/build services for the modernization of legacy IRS data center space in Kansas City, MO. This effort was in support of the US Marines Enterprise Information Technology Services (MCEITS) data center consolidation initiative.  The project was completed in early 2010.

AllCom performed all design/build and engineering services for the physical infrastructure including design and installation of cabinets with power requirements exceeding 20KW/cabinet.  We designed and installed a full APC InfrastruXure solution including APC In Row Cooling and Hot Aisle Containment Systems (HACS) and several large MGE UPS systems.

AllCom also designed and installed intelligent power distribution units, Netbotz temperature, humidity and door alarm systems, air blown fiber to the MDF, CAT6A cabling to all racks, a grounding grid beneath the raised floor, a Starline Buss system to support branch circuits, and an intelligent patch panel system from CommScope (IPatch 360).

This multi-million dollar project is still ongoing.  AllCom is currently building out a Network Operations Center for the USMC at their Kansas City facility and has performed initial engineering design on a second MCEITS facility in Albany, GA.
